How the Procedure is Done:
The anesthesiologist reviews the patient’s medical history, allergies, and lab results to plan the safest approach.
An IV line is inserted to deliver fluids and medications.
Depending on the procedure, the patient receives general, regional, or local anesthesia.
Throughout the operation, the patient’s heart rate, oxygen levels, and blood pressure are continuously monitored.
After surgery, the anesthesia is reversed or stopped, and the patient is observed during recovery for any side effects.
